    power shower

Just a decent option for a short weekend trip in Bradford-On-Avon with excellent value for money. The power shower in my ensuite was invigorating and made waking up a delight. Be sure to enjoy the beautiful views from your room.

    delicious breakfast

    Perfect for relaxation seekers

Every morning felt like a special occasion with breakfast served in the warm dining room where homemade jam was a real treat. And, I must say, I learned the secret to perfectly poached eggs after Suzanne's little session in the kitchen.

It wasn’t exactly cheap , but that went hand in hand with the experience.

    delicious breakfasts
    fantastic host
    charming cottage
    tricky access

Had a great time with friends! The location was perfect for exploring nearby Bath and Stonehenge. Our mornings started with delicious breakfasts featuring homemade compote and friendly chats with Suzanne. She's a fantastic host. The charm of the cottage really made our trip special.

The only downside was that accessing the room with our luggage was a bit tricky due to the layout.

    charming garden
    modern decor
    maintenance issues

quiet location, beautiful garden, 18th Century farmhouse

Charming decor could use a modern touch!!! While the garden is lovely, a bit more maintenance would do wonders!!! Tea-making facilities could be upgraded for a more satisfying experience!!!

    delicious breakfast
    challenging room access

Herb Cottage truly exceeded our expectations. the character and charm of the place were enchanting! Suzanne’s breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade jam and perfectly poached eggs.

While the overall experience was delightful, I did find that accessing the room with multiple bags was a bit cumbersome due to the layout.

    warm hospitality
    delicious breakfast
    cumbersome luggage
    seamless check-in
    garden maintenance

Warm hospitality from Suzanne created an inviting atmosphere, making each morning special with a delicious breakfast that featured excellent homemade jams. The spacious room offered stunning views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. maneuvering past doorways with large luggage proved a bit cumbersome, and a more seamless check-in process could enhance the experience. While the garden could benefit from extra maintenance, the tranquil surroundings certainly provided a peaceful retreat.
